Jerome and Brian end the month by talking about the MCU's Spider-Man entry. Is it good enough to make the pantheon or will it fall short just as Spider-man 2 did? Regardless, there will be important conversation about whether Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man and just how good a villain Michael Keaton is.

Originally, this was going to be next week's episode, but Jerome and brian had a chance to see this film early, and they think it's one of the best of the year. Not just from a superhero or animated perspective.

This movie is not good. One of the most aggressively bad superhero movies of all-time. Too many characters. Too much going on. Andrew Garfield is trying but he's just too mopey. Emma Stone is a gem, but of course, a comic book from 40 years ago takes precedence over modern storytelling. Hopefully, this podcast is better than the film itself.

Dylan, Rich, and Chris are back to discuss the big ROH contract signings and give their thoughts on the ramifications this will have on the indie scene. They talk about how this may affect, actually how it's already affecting other indie promotions when it comes to talent and how they are utilized. They also discuss the larger conversation as to whether this actually changes anything. Send us your thoughts to mailbag@pwponderings.com

It's back to Spider-man as Brian and Jerome examine a forgettable duo of movies. It's like the indie version of Spider-man with mopiness and weird comedy. But Uncle Ben still needs to be murdered. and we still need to have a tragic villain. This was certainly a Spider-Man movie.

Chris and Rich are back from Thanksgiving to talk about some huge news coming out of last week. They talk about the All Elite Wrestling promotion trademarks and how it affects ROH and the MSG show. They talk about ROH's new video series 'The Pinnacle' and their Final Battle announcements. They also talk about the injuries of Fenix and MJF. Some big CZW and GFW announcements round out the news items. They conclude with the signing of WALTER and UK talent to WWE. Send your thoughts to mailbag@pwponderings.com

Forget last week. This is the biggest disagreement in the history of podcast, to the point where one person almost slots this in the Hall of Fame and the other in the Pile of Shame. This is one of the more unique episodes of the podcast you'll ever have.
Nov 17, 2018
Jerome and Brian have their biggest disagreement as they discuss the unofficial end to the Christopher Reeve franchise. This time with Brandon Routh doing his best impression! There are some great moments punctuated by a whole lot of nothing going on...and an annoying child actor. One person had their mind changed upon second viewing. The other...did not.

Rich Laconi takes the helm alone this week, but that does not deter him from jumping into some of the biggest shows of the week-even if he cheats along the way. Rich discuss the EVOLVE results and what they mean for the future of the company and then he is joined by Runz from the Running Wild Podcast to run down Ring of Honor's Global Wars tour.

Don't miss another great episode of the PWP Newscast, if only so that Rich doesn't feel abandoned.

Two forgettable Superman films can be covered in one show. One of them is regarded as one of the worst movies ever made and the other features Richard Pryor as one of the main villains. Say a sad farewell to Christopher Reeves time as Superman as he tries his best to redeem these terribly misguided sequels.

Chris and Rich are back to discuss a lot of ROH heavy topics on this week's Newscast. They talk about the Survival of the FIttest tournament and what Marty Scurll winning means going forward. THey talk about the Sea of Honor Tournament from the Jericho Cruise and why that could lead to some fun storylines in ROH. Then they delve into the possible Final Battle card, with SPOILER WARNING and talk about some fun possibilities of what could happen with Rush coming to ROH. Jerome and Brian kick off Superman month by discussing one of the most controversial Superman films of all-time. Richard Donner was fired off the project, and the Christopher Reeve version of this franchise would never be the same. This film is an amalgamation of two different visions, yet it's much more cohesive than you might think. Is it cohesive enough to become the second Superman movie put into the pantheon?

They conclude with a brief discussion of the weekends Women's Wrestling Revolution event, short previews of Beyond's It's Alive and Black Label Pro's Big Trouble In Little Crown Point, and as always the hugely popular "Glacier Of The Week" segment!

So it's come to this. Spider-Man 3. One of the most reviled superhero movies of all-time. Tobey McGuire goes all emo. Avi Arad tried to stuff three villains in a two hour movie. Topher Grace goes to church and becomes a crappy Venom instead of finishing That 70's Show. Will Jerome and Brian see this movie as a turd in the wind?
Oct 16, 2018

Chris, Rich, and Dylan have a lot of heavy topics this week. The trio talk about the biggest story going on in pro wrestling this week which is the ties of WWE with Saudi Arabia and how social responsibility should trickle down into indie wrestling. How indie wrestling should respond to this type of behavior and how culturally important it can be for us as fans.

Discussion then turns to Stokely Hathaway no longer being with EVOLVE and what that means. Then the trio have some great banter about The Collective, a big endeavor by Game Changer Wrestling for Wrestlemania weekend. Dylan talks about the supershow that Powerbomb.TV is preparing for that weekend.

It's Doc Oc time! Jerome and Brian review one of the most popular superhero movies of all-time. Who knew Peter Parker getting shit on for two hours would be so popular? This movie might be better, but is it good enough to qualify? The answer might surprise you. But seriously, that subway scene though...
Oct 11, 2018
It's the first of two Spider-Man months in 2018. First up is the movie that started it all. Relive Tobey McGuire, Kirsten Dunst, Willem Defoe, Macy Gray, and even Chad Kroger. Jerome and Brian talk about all the iconic moments, including the big upside down kiss and Bonesaw indeed being ready. This movie might be popular, but will this be good enough to make our pantheon?
Oct 8, 2018

The Podcast of Honor is back and taking the place of the Newscast for this week as Rich, Ari, and Chris GST discuss all the news around ROH. They give their overall thoughts on the Death Before Dishonor show and what the events of the show mean going forward. They discuss the influence of Jeff Cobb and how he adds to the product. They discuss the possibility of Taven vs Lethal at Final Battle and how it will really divide the fans. Plus lots of other discussion including a spoiler section at the end.
