Jerome and Brian discuss what many consider to be the worst film in the MCU. Is it bad enough to warrant Pile of Shame consideration? Find out.

Feb 11, 2019

Jerome and Brian finally crack open the Thor trilogy to see how well it holds up. While the original may be FINE, it feels like a remake of Iron Man in a lot of ways. Still there are some enjoyable parts. Just two more episodes left before the big 50th.

Feb 5, 2019
Jerome and Brian are finishing up the MCU this month, first by discussing Iron Man 2, a rather mixed bag of a film with a few highlights, none of which are related to Mickey Rourke.
Jan 26, 2019
Enjoy this double episode as Jerome and Brian discuss two very similar movies. Sky High and Zoom have similar premises, young superheroes coming into their own with the help of mentors. One thing is for sure. Kurt Russell is a better mentor than Tim Allen. Originals month ends with two forgotten kids films.
Jan 16, 2019
Enjoy this listen as Jerome and Brian break down M. Night Shymalan's second movie ever, Unbreakable, a movie whose legacy seems to grow stronger by the day. They also review his career and discuss Split (SPOILER ALERT) before previewing Glass.

Jan 7, 2019
Jerome had to edit this episode twice, so you all better listen as they discuss their first movie of 2019. Liam Neeson stars in a forgotten Sam Raimi vehicle from the very early 1990s. It's a movie all about masks with some excellent technical skill exhibited. Do the performances match up with Sam Raimi's vision?
Jan 1, 2019
Jerome and Brian have been doing this show a full year. To celebrate they discuss a Superman film that wasn't made and the crowd funded documentary that ensued from it. The duo discuss their excitement level for a Tim Burton/Nicholas Cage Superman movie.
Dec 28, 2018
Permission to come aboard your podcast feed for the final episode of 2018? Jerome and Brian discuss 2018's final superhero film of the year, Aquaman. There's some good and some bad. Find out whether Aquaman continues the DECU's upward swing
Dec 22, 2018
Jerome and Brian end the month by talking about the MCU's Spider-Man entry. Is it good enough to make the pantheon or will it fall short just as Spider-man 2 did? Regardless, there will be important conversation about whether Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man and just how good a villain Michael Keaton is.

Dec 15, 2018
Originally, this was going to be next week's episode, but Jerome and brian had a chance to see this film early, and they think it's one of the best of the year. Not just from a superhero or animated perspective.
Dec 10, 2018
This movie is not good. One of the most aggressively bad superhero movies of all-time. Too many characters. Too much going on. Andrew Garfield is trying but he's just too mopey. Emma Stone is a gem, but of course, a comic book from 40 years ago takes precedence over modern storytelling. Hopefully, this podcast is better than the film itself.
Dec 1, 2018
It's back to Spider-man as Brian and Jerome examine a forgettable duo of movies. It's like the indie version of Spider-man with mopiness and weird comedy. But Uncle Ben still needs to be murdered. and we still need to have a tragic villain. This was certainly a Spider-Man movie.
Nov 26, 2018
Forget last week. This is the biggest disagreement in the history of podcast, to the point where one person almost slots this in the Hall of Fame and the other in the Pile of Shame. This is one of the more unique episodes of the podcast you'll ever have.
Nov 17, 2018
Jerome and Brian have their biggest disagreement as they discuss the unofficial end to the Christopher Reeve franchise. This time with Brandon Routh doing his best impression! There are some great moments punctuated by a whole lot of nothing going on...and an annoying child actor. One person had their mind changed upon second viewing. The other...did not.
Nov 12, 2018
Two forgettable Superman films can be covered in one show. One of them is regarded as one of the worst movies ever made and the other features Richard Pryor as one of the main villains. Say a sad farewell to Christopher Reeves time as Superman as he tries his best to redeem these terribly misguided sequels.

Nov 4, 2018
Jerome and Brian kick off Superman month by discussing one of the most controversial Superman films of all-time. Richard Donner was fired off the project, and the Christopher Reeve version of this franchise would never be the same. This film is an amalgamation of two different visions, yet it's much more cohesive than you might think. Is it cohesive enough to become the second Superman movie put into the pantheon?
Oct 29, 2018
Jerome and Brian discuss the turd in the wind that is Venom.
Oct 21, 2018
So it's come to this. Spider-Man 3. One of the most reviled superhero movies of all-time. Tobey McGuire goes all emo. Avi Arad tried to stuff three villains in a two hour movie. Topher Grace goes to church and becomes a crappy Venom instead of finishing That 70's Show. Will Jerome and Brian see this movie as a turd in the wind?
Oct 14, 2018
It's Doc Oc time! Jerome and Brian review one of the most popular superhero movies of all-time. Who knew Peter Parker getting shit on for two hours would be so popular? This movie might be better, but is it good enough to qualify? The answer might surprise you. But seriously, that subway scene though...
Oct 11, 2018
It's the first of two Spider-Man months in 2018. First up is the movie that started it all. Relive Tobey McGuire, Kirsten Dunst, Willem Defoe, Macy Gray, and even Chad Kroger. Jerome and Brian talk about all the iconic moments, including the big upside down kiss and Bonesaw indeed being ready. This movie might be popular, but will this be good enough to make our pantheon?
Oct 1, 2018
How many podcasts can transition from First Reformed to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom? This one sure did. Jerome and Brian are joined by The Reel World's Mike Thomas to offer some takes on some of the summer blockbusters as well as some of the smaller films which hit theaters between April 27 (Thanks Disney) and Labor Day. Enjoy our reflections and check out some summer flicks you may have missed out on.
Sep 23, 2018
Hey now, Jerome and Brian are all-stars this weekend as they discuss the 1999 borderline cult classic Mystery Men. It's an interesting archive of the late 90s, especially when you look at the cast and the fact this helped turn Smash Mouth into huge stars for a hot minute. Will this oddball film be good enough to get into the pantheon? Find out.

Sep 16, 2018
Jerome and Brian are back, and it definitely wasn't the second time they had to record this podcast. They discuss the ultimate 90s anti-hero in Spawn. Find out why the villain performances atone for a generally mediocre to bad movie and some of the worst special effects ever realized.
Sep 9, 2018

Jerome and Brian discuss 1994's The Shadow this week as they continue "Forgotten 90s" month. They discuss whether Alec Baldwin would make a good Batman and have a major disagreement about the villain. You may not know whether this ends up in the pantheon or pile of shame, but The Shadow knows. Listen and you'll find out too.
